I have finally gotten around to checking my turn and hazard flashers and would like to know if they are correct. The Judging Manual states both are non-DOT and I do not see any letters "DOT". Would there be any numbers along with "DOT"? On the yellow plastic turn signal flasher top half it is imprinted "TUNG-SOL 323, 3 lamp 12 volt". The bottom half is imprinted "SAE J590?, USA PAT.RE24023 FLASHER". It has a wax paper capacitor. The hazard flasher is round, natural aluminum. The top half is imprinted "Made in USA, 552-12v". In the center is "TS". The bottom half is imprinted "SAE J945, PAT NO. RE 24023". Do these 2 flashers sound correct for a 1967? I have seen several hazard flashers on E-bay that are rectangular, not round like I have in the fuse panel and this is my cause for concern. Thanks in advance. Rick

Re: 1967 Turn & Hazard Flashers
Rick - I agree with Kevin that they sound correct; but want to add that the T/S 552 configuration you describe is what I would expect to see on '67s build in calendar year 1967 because the T/S 552 flasher manufactured thru calendar year 1966 were silk screened around the side of the cover and were not embossed on the top. Re: 1967 Turn & Hazard Flashers
Kevin & Pete,
Thanks for your replies. Pete, my car is a June 67 build car. I happened to see both styles on E-bay, embossed and silk screened on the side and thats what got me to thinking if I had the correct one. Thanks again, Rick- Top
