    Judging results missing in the Restorer

    Hi,

    I was happely surprised to find the Restorer on my door mat last week but a little disappointed not to find the UK Flight Judging results (showing my proudly achieved Top Flight). Any idea why this was not in the maggie?

    PS I also didn't received any ribbon of any sort so far. Is this something which should be send automaticly or does it require any action from my side?

    The judging chairman of the meet should get you your ribbon and is the starting point for the judging results to get to the correct people. I would contact him.

      I noticed the meet was Sept.11 2005. The Fall 2005 Restorer was probably printed before the results would have got turned in.

        You would typically receive your ribbon during the awards ceremony/dinner immediately following the judging activity. You didn't mistake it for a new neck tie, did you?

          Rob,

          I am pleased that you are looking for the report of the UK meet results in The Restorer. Even if the meet judging Chairman had reported the results to Roy Sinor in the hours following the event, it would have been past the deadline for the Fall Restorer. I am sure it would surprise many members to know how long it takes to assemble and print, not to mention ship (especially overseas), the magazine.

            Just as a point of interest, while reading your post today about receiving your
            Restorer" last week, the Postman was delivering my copy of the "Restorer". What a co-winky-dink. Seems to me that southern Ontario (Canada) is a lot closer to where ever they are mailed from than Western Europe. Go figure?

              Dan: I received my copy of the Restorer yesterday(Tuesday). I noticed there was a posting last Friday re an article and photo .

                I believe I received the maggie the day after Roy's initial post (so that must be on Saturday).
