aluminum radiator john bauer i have purchased an original roadster with an l spd no a c it has a harrison aluminum radiator h steel fan shroud and expansion tank h my question is i thought only lt and ls motors used the aluminum radiator is this correct for my car vette vues shows lt cars with copper radiators the trim tag build date is a vin s very early ' car thanks

re aluminum radiator roberto luis base engines with manual trans had al radiator expansion tank as you described and metal shroud my base engine has al radiator tank and shroud as you described the other vettes with al rad are zr and zr hope this helps a little best from argentina roberto ncrsRoberto J Luis

suggestion join ncrs bob patton i have purchased an original roadster with an l spd no a c greetings john if you aren't a member of ncrs you need to join asap membership is per year imo its the best bang for the buck in the hobby you will get to know great people suberb knowledge just check the recent and past issues of the restorer etc then purchase a judging guide and all the answers will be there bob- Top
