In the 63 AIM Sect 1, Sheet A100 item #6 it is called "lock pillar asm to brace-body lock pillar". I call it the body rail that sits on the body mounts which are welded to the frame rail. I have washed the underside and removed surface rust as best I can with a wire brush. Is it recommended to paint this rail? (Body is off) No heavy rust;I would judge it as mild.
