C1 and C2 Birth Calendar

Hi all,

Since the other Corvette birth calendar is gone for some time now I'm considering to build a build calendar functionality in the C1 (and C2) Registry. How can I determine what non-production days were out there (Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, strikes, etc.) were in 1953-1967 ? Is this somehow know somewhere to make the calculator as accurate as possible. Did the factory work on Saturdays and Sundays (maybe from time to time)?

Rob, I suggest you use the Birthday Calculator BOOK as you data input source. Also, solicit input from members that have a car produced on a day that the plant was assumed closed. Here PROOF POSITIVE must be available.

Just a thought, can someone at the Wisconsin site send you their copy to use on your WEB site.

What public holidays are out there in the States that I should consider.

I know of:
Independence Day (7/4)
Presidents Day (date unknown to me)
X-Mas (12/25, same as in Europe)

Others I should consider as a non-production day?
