C-3 heatern hose

I tried to replace the heater hoses where it goes into the coil the clamps are the screw type and the slot to put the screw driver in facing the fiberglass body that surrounds the coil.. There is no way to get to the head on the clamp.. Did anybody have this problem

The clamp screws should also have a hex in addition to the screwdriver slot - have you tried an open-end wrench on the hex?

With a small dremel tool cut the clamp.
