    c1 rear spring number

    There is a set of springs on ebay PART #3751433 with a DATE CODE 28EO. Archives indicate the correct part number for c1 springs (4 leaf grooved) is 3751438. What is the correct part number and what year are these springs.

      I can find no information that GM #3751433 ever existed as a part number for a leaf spring assembly for any GM vehicle.

              Leon, part number 3751438 is correct. Could it be that the last 8 in the number was not stamped clearly and appears to be a 3? The date code is the the 28th day of 1960 or, January 28,1960. The E stands for Eaton, the name of the spring manufacturer.

                      Leon, if you look at the lower spring in the first picture, the last digit in the part number looks more like an 8 than a 3. This seller did not know how to read the date code and it looks to me like he also posted the wrong part number. These springs would be appropriate for a 1960 assembled after January 28, 1960.
