C2 '66 BB radiators dates??

This question was asked a few months ago by a different member without any help.
"....I am under the impression that 1966 427 Brass/Copper radiators did not have date stamps. They did have a metal tag affixed to the passenger side engine facing verticle tank rib that indicated application and part number. For example - a 427 4sp car had and MK tag with the part number. Am I correct to assume there were no dates on these units ? ...."

Did they have any numbers on the radiator? And if so, what are the break down of these numbers?

My original '67 big block radiator had the tag that you mention but no date anywhere. My understanding is that it is the same for '66.

Ken - I believe I was the member who brought up the question - after researching this - the answer is that the 66 BB original radiators where not dated. Just the ID tag for application as you noted in your "MK" comment.

The JG states that 67 BB radiators has "Harrison" stamped below filler. Is it not the same for 66? My 67 BB radiator has correct tag but radiatior does not have Harrison stamped. Mine is also copper/brass. But its not correct as far as judgeing because Harrison is not stamped. The correct tag must have been added. Don
