I'm restoring a 63 to sportsman standards. The car came with a newly restored 63 gauge housing and gauges but the gauges, tach and speedometer are 65-67 type. Will a 63 wiring harness connect to the 65-67 gauges correctly? I ask this question to Lectriclimited but could not get this question answered. Also what is a good reference for installing the wiring harness? Thanks for your help.

Yes, I believe the connections are the same. The Assembly Manual is about as good as it gets for installation instruction.Bill Clupper #618- Top

Re: 63 gauge connection / wiring harness
Just curious, but the 63 gauge cluster has a shorter cutout for the steering colum. The column in a 63 sits lower then the 64 - 67. Is your column at the correct height for a 63? If it is the housing is a 63 if not the housing is from a later year. I agree the connections should be the same.- Top
