1970 Vette VIN Numbers

I'm trying to determine if the 1970 Corvette I owned for 14 years is still out there. The standard VIN sites require 17 digits but those, like mine, had only 13 (counting the S for St. Louis as a digit). Anyone know how to run a VIN check on C3s?

Look on the 70 Corvette registry website you might get lucky. The only other way is to manually track it. Start with whomever you sold it to,

Keep trying. I reclaimed my 1970 BB last year that I sold in 1982. Ran accross it almost by accident.

Tony, I didn't get lucky at the 1970 Corvette Registry and haven't had luck finding the buyer -- but I won't give up. Will keep you posted.
