There are different issues at hand than preveous, low interest rates being one. If you really don't need the money and you enjoy your car, I would hang onto it. When you own a car for that long it has grown to you. Granted, you can't eat your car when you get hungry, you can't take a shower in it, it needs to be fed if you drive it and it breaks down from time to time.
For me, it is just an experience and something I like to do. I think it would be hard to be without one. But, who knows. Terry
