I didn't know if it was against the rules to post it here, since there's an info section in the driveline, but I see somebody else lookin', so we'll give it a shot.
I helped a friend buy and do a 67 435 Elkhart Blue coupe in the 80's. Actually I started the car and he ended up sending it to Nabors Bros. when we ran out of steam on it as a project. We took the car to Bloomington in 1988 (Gold). After a PV in Atlanta and Top Flight in Cypress Gardens we took it to Anaheim whatever year the National Convention was there (around 1990 give or take) and it was Duntov'd. I did all the upkeep on it after Nabors finished the car originally, including pulling the motor to fix a spun main and re-detailing it under the hood, all done the week before Anaheim.
Anyhow, an unfortunate business deal with his brother forced the owner to dispose of the car 6 or 8 years ago and I've been wondering where it went and if it has a good home. I was told some broker sold it somewhere in the NE.
The car as sold had GM bolt ons (not repops) side exhaust and black vinyl interior. I'd be interested in the car myself if it's ever for sale, since I've got so much time, effort and travel in it myself, but would really just like to know what became of it.
