Could someone recommend an exhaust supplier that would comply the most with the judging sheets for a 69? I've decided not to go with stainless and to go with the welded type(muffler welded to the aft pipe). This leaves me with the welded type of alluminized or carbon steel material. I believe carbon steel would be original but I don't know if anyone makes it this way. If alluminized is the way to go then what kind of a point deduct should I expect? Your suggestions are appreciated as I am trying for the least amount of points deductioned.

Greg---
If memory serves me correctly, about 12 years ago, I ordered a set of exaust pipes and mufflers for my '67 from Allen's and requested they use carbon steel instead of aluminized or stainless. I had to request the additional shipping charge for their over sized length since I wanted them exactly like originally installed during assembly. They judged very well. Just a thought for your '69.

50% point loss on originality for an aluminized system. But, I think it will last a LONG time, and my 72 still got a Top Flight.
