1963 Carpet wire retainer clips

I am replacing the wire mold (shield)clips that are located to the exterior side of the driver and passenger seat. When I ordered the new clips they provided 14 clips. Did every rivet require a clip?

Did you get 14 clips or 14 rivets? I believe if memory serves there are only 3 clips per side. I received a similiar amount of pop rivets... probably a mistake in packaging... from Long Island Supply. The pop rivets are incorrect for that application but must be used if the body is on the frame with no access from under the cage

I received fourteen clips and no rivets. I purchased a package of aluminum 100 rivets and I am replacing numerous rivets through the 63.

In my 67 there were about 3 clips per side that hold the metal cover/retainer in place. Maybe your 63 is different. Check you AIM for the correct count and location.
