I would like to document the 7-digit numbers that appeared on 1968 thru 1982 Corvette starter solenoids. Can anyone out there let me know what those numbers are? Thanks, Wayne #4921.

Following is a listing of what you seek. However, these numbers might not appear on all solenoids. Some may have no number, at all, and some may have a derivative of the number. Also, the configuration of the same part number solenoid may change slightly over the years of its use and in later SERVICE. In particular, some solenoids, especially early, have a black-painted frame, others, especially later, have a zinc plated frame. Some have a black "Bakelite" cap, others have a dark brown "Bakelite" cap.
