At long last...time to drop that Body back on. I have the Fan Surround; Dewitt Radiator, Engine Fan/Clutch and fully operational motor all sitting in the Chassis right now. What all must be removed OFF the chassis prior to the Body Drop? I assume at a minmum, the Fan Surround must come off and be re-installed on the Body 1st. At the same time, taking out the Radiator to re-install after the Body is on. What else must come off? Fan/Clutch? Alternator? Air Compressor? And, I if I'm not mistaken, the complete exhaust can stay on as long as the "tips" are not on, which they are not. Or...does the exhaust system have to be lowered slightly. The rear body valence is still off the rear. Thaks Arne, NCRS 16751

Re: C2 Body Drop
Sounds like you've got the drill down, but if your shift linkage is installed block the lever to the left against the spring, and have someone watch that the reverse lockout levers don't hang up on the shift lever opening. I don't recall having a problem with the exhaust system (it was all installed except the tips), but it's been a long time. Also, I think it's best done with the hood off.
