76 L-82 Carb Jet selection issues.

There was a post regarding how lean the factory was making the C3s in the early to mid 70s to meet emissions. Some people chimmed in about changing jet size and blocking off the manifold riser. I have a 76 L-82 4 speed, and would blocking off the manifold riser and rejeting the carb do me any good? If so, What size Jets? Thanks in advance!

your 76 has a Qjet correct so it should be pretty close the way it is and you have to worry about the cat convertor

Most of the "lean" carb issues are primarily directed at Pre-Converter era carburators.
