C1 - Spacer color on '56 automatic

Is the engine spacer painted the same color as the engine on a '56 powerglide.

Tom, I painted mine same as the block. It has been judged three times and no point deduction. Don't really know for sure if it is correct, but it just seemed to make logical sense.

I had to research this for my 55,

and the spacer is engine color, red, and the bellhousing, natural.
