    Engine numbers

    Can anyone tell me what this engine was originally installed in ? At the moment, I do not have the casting number or date but will get it. As always thanks for any help. 18S409393 VOI08HT

      Looks like a '68 L-79 out of '68 #9393; numbers/dates line up.

              Yes it is and a nice one at that. The L79 is a 327 that puts out 350 horsepower.
              I have one in my 68 coupe.
