Door Hinge bushings for my '67

Has anyone had problems with installing new door hinge bushings, with regards to the replacement bushing's outside diameter being too small. I just got a set from LICS and they just drop into the door hinges. I had to use a punch to remove the old ones. My concern is do all the vendors sell the same stuff? If I were to order another set from a different source, would I receive the same parts?

I recently saw that NAPA Auto Parts sells a kit with various size door hinge bushings. You might check there if you have one near you.
I purchased mine for my 68 long ago from Dr. Rebuild in Connecticut. He has a web site www.docrebuild.com you can look at.

as steve and kurt mentioned, the GM pins and bushings fit fine. most GM dealers stock them. get mine from local pontiac dealer. apparantly GM uses the same pins in most of their 50's thru 80's vehicles. mike

I got the pins and bushings from a local buick dealer. The pins are a little too long, I had to shorten them. The bushings fit fine. If you are changing the bushings you should probably change the pins too. The old pins on my car did show some slight wear.

I should have mentioned I bought the kit with the new bushings and new pins. The pins appear to fit fine and are the same length as the old ones.

You used to be able to get oversized bushings if the bushing holes were to big from wear. Mike

I just replaced mine today!

I got new bushings from Paragon and installed them today. They went in just fine. I reused my old pins though since there was no wear on them. It was tough removing the upper hinges but the lower ones came out w/o any trouble at all.
