    TRIPOWER HEADACHES

Iam attempting to line out a recent 67 tripower startup and am having a few problems.I was wondering since i do have the smog option if that effects the timing spec of 4 degrees BTDC. It also has AC. The car starts fine but does not want to shut off immediately. I also noticed a tremendous amount of vacuum at the front carb and hardly any at the middle carb effecting the vac advance.
    Any help greatly appreciated.

If your experiencing 'run-on', this could be caused by too high of an idle speed.

the center carb may have "ported vacuum" where you see little or no vacuum till you "crack" the throttle and the port on the end carb is seeing manifold vacuum. try disconecting all the linkage from all carbs and make sure all the butterflys are closing all the way
