    '67 redline tires

I have read the archives and I know there is much info on this subject. My question is are the "Firestone Supreme Si" redline radials made by Firestone or Diamond Back and can they be bought anywhere but Diamond Back? Also is 205/75/15 or 215/70/15 the best size?

As far as I know, you'll have to go to Diamondback. Either size will work. Depends on if you want the extra width or not.

      Chuck -

They're made by Firestone (current high-volume passenger car tire), and your Firestone dealer can get them in blackwalls or whitewalls for about $75 each; if you want redlines, you have to go to Diamondback, as they vulcanize the redlines on a "Supreme Si" blackwall after buffing all the extraneous molded stuff off the sidewall except "Firestone", "Supreme Si", and the size designation. Firestone doesn't make them as a redline.
