    Joe..can you identify RPO 565 from 1956/1957..it was found on a Frank Burrell document from that timeframe.

      My initial check came up dry. The only reference to "565" for the 56-57 period that I can find is an interior trim combination for certain non-Corvette Chevrolet models. I'll keep checking when I have a chance, but I'm not too optimistic.

          I am told the RPO 565 is referenced with regards to 5 units from an old document.

          My guess's are:

          37.5 gallon steel tank
          Roll Bar
          Plexi wind screen

          But..these are just guess's

          RPO 581 being the original assigned number for the heavy duty rear traction bar set up before being superceded by RPO 684 in production..maybe there are other RPO's in the 500 range.
