    NEW 5th Edition 1963-64 TIMJG??

I still have my old First Edition of the 1963-64 TIMJG - we sure have come a long way. But it's still pretty neat with all the hand-drawn pictures.

I skipped the Second Edition. But I broke down and bought the Third Edition - a LOT more info than before, but it had a few shortcomings and, yes, mistakes. I sort of missed the pictures too. But I wore it out just the same.

So this summer, I bought the NEW Fourth Edition. To be honest, I was a little disappointed. Not enough really "new" material from the Third Edition to justify the $30 price, I guess. A lot of the same old mistakes too. Whatever.

BUT WAIT! Today I read in my Driveline that there is now a NEW NEW FIFTH EDITION of the 1963-64 TIMJG!! Really? Is this a misprint? I thought I just paid $30 for the NEW 1963-64 TIMJG.

So, it is REALLY new? Mistakes fixed this time? And please tell me that they moved the page numbers back out to the outside edge where I can find them! What a pain.

I'm very disappointed in my 4th edition too. Since it was just released within the last couple of months, I'd be very surprised if there's another one so soon.

As judging chairman for our chapter and a long time 1964 Corvette owner, I too didn't feel that there was much new info from the third edition. One thing I would really like to see in all the new revised editions of the judging manuals is to have the newly updated wording printed in bold italics. Then in the next edition those changes go back to regular print and again the new revisions shown in bold italics. To me this would be more help to me to know what has changed from one edition to the next. The colored pages were okay, but not specific enough.

      Just my thoughts,

Can't anyone confirm this NEW 5th Edition of the 1963-64 TIMJG? Is it a misprint?

I believe that it is a misprint. They reference the beige cover, which the 4th edition has
