intake manifold date code

I have a 67 vette bb Serial number 107 My assemble number is T0816IL the date on the intake is H 18 6 Two days after the assmble date . Is this correct? Terry

If I remember right, it has been discussed that big blocks were stamped before assembly since the plug on the head interferes with the stamping. However, two days?

The 16th was Tuesday and the 18th was Thursday, so maybe the assembler broke a bolt, then an EZ out, and so by the time he had the engine together, the younger intake was ready.
