    C-3, TH400

    I need to clarify what I think I read in the 1970-1972 JG regarding TH400s on big and small blocks as being mated at the St. Louis plant and therefore the TH400s were not painted nor had orange overspray. Were they just bare metal?

      Yes, the were just bare aluminum. Exactly the same as Muncie 4 speeds.

          How do you ever have the time to answer them all? I love it! Now I got go to remove some orange paint from a TH400.
