    58 Trunk Spears Advise

My original trunk spears need a hand or two: looks like they were bent and straighen back, one of them even grinded a bit.
I live south of the border, so my repairing options are a bit complicated: to take a chance and have them repaired in a local shop; ship them to a shop in the US with experience in handling the job by their own (any idea on who?).

I guess I should consider also buying originals or repros. Any comments on the looks of repros vs originals will be greatly appreciated.

    58 Trunk Spears...

Alfonso... All things considered, I believe I would advise you to purchase a new set of reproduction spears for your '58, however, it has been a long time since I have seen a set of the reproductions. I hope another poster can comment on the quality and fit of the current issue. Best Regards, Dennis
