    vaccum advance

Does anyone know of a reliable source who can rebuild a vaccum advance from a 327, 250 HP. Thanks

    Ray -

I'm not aware of anyone who rebuilds vacuum advance cans; the replacements from NAPA/Echlin are identical to the originals except for the numbers stamped on the bottom of the mounting bracket.

If you can find a working used one, they can (within limits) be replated, what one are you looking for. There are also reproductions, although I have found the calibration to be less than accurate on several examples.

        Ray,

If it is working, here's what a little plating can do:
