    Midyear RIBBITS!!!

Why did St. Louis and Ionia use different fasteners for the door skin-to-steel frame? Are the only different rivets the two near the forward weatherstripping (below the vent window). If this is true, then why would St Louis use "pop" rivits in only two places, and manually compressed, flat head style rivets in every other place.
I have successfully bucked up new rivets in all locations, so inserting a bucking bar was not a problem. Any thoughts as to the reason?

    Joe -

There were several minor process differences between St. Louis and A.O. Smith, and this was one of them - don't know the reason.
