C2 L79 Correct Carburetor?

I have a 65 April HT car with an L79 that has a Holley carburetor that the numbers don't quite match up to the JG. The carburetor number on the air horn shows an R2818-1 and a number 3849804, with a date code of 0891 (or D981). What carburetor is this and what engine does it fit? Could it be a service replacement? If it is the incorrect unit for my car, any suggestions as to the best place to get a correct carb?

That's a service replacement for the '65 L-79 application, made in late March, 1981.

Correct 3-digit-dated original 2818-1's aren't easy to find - keep an eye on eBay and the "Driveline"; in the meantime, it's only an 8-point deduction, and nobody but you will know it's service-dated unless the car is being judged.
