I'm very familiar with it. I always found that it worked very well. I prefer the spray can version as clem described. Also, as clem mentioned the directions for use are on the container and vary by which type you use.
The product contains a chemical called "butyl cellosolve" as its main, active ingredient. It will help remove intake manifold, cylinder head, and combustion chamber deposits. I consider it the most effective product on the market for this purpose. It's also "tried-and-true"; it's been around for, at least, 40 years.
Although it might be just fine, I would not use it for a fuel injected, modern vehicle. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

My friend George Brazil, always added a can to every tune up he did at Galles- Groesbeeck Chevrolet(I bought my new 67 C-2 there). It never showed on the ticket. He called it his insurance for "little old ladies" who putted around.- Top
