I just got back my restored '67 horns from the Horn Works in Wisconsin. It took just 2 weeks and the workmanship is outstanding. They sound just as good as they look. It's nice to know there are still vendors out there who do quality work at a reasonable price. PT
I must admit almost every vendor I worked with (horns, wiper transmission, mirror restoration, etc. etc. worked out nicely). I only did have to send my clock back twice and it still wasn't working as suppose to. But when you enquire on the board first to select your vendors it normally works out perfect for me...

Patrick,
The finish looks like gloss, am I correct in that assumption? Also, did they do a total repair to the guts of both horns because both of yours were not working or a cosmetic restore of one because one horn was working properly? The reason I ask because the web site list the repair to a "pair" of horns, so if one works, what do they do to the working horn?
