Mike, I haven't heard back from you regarding the color of my original seatbelt fabric after cleaning. Did you receive the fabric for inspection? I tried emailing you directly but don't know if they got thru. Please let me know. Charlie at Seatbelt Sity wants to wrap my job up. I have original 4 panel nylon in the wrong red that can be dyed but I need an accurate reference color.

Clare,

I took these samples to Park City with me this summer and showed them to John Kennedy. Before I could finish my question, he picked the sample in the middle and told me it was the closest to the original color.

I didn't have this picture, just the samples. Because computer monitors vary with shades of color, this picture will look different to everyone so I'd expect some different opinions based on the picture alone.

Thanks Tracy, the middle sample looks more red on my monitor and those to the right more orange red. My original fabric definately had a orange red cast, maybe more orange than red, after cleaning. Because there was alot of fading on my belts and because I couldn't be sure the unfaded areas hadn't changed in the cleaning process, (I used Simple Green full strength with alot of hand scrubbing) I wanted to be sure of the color before using them as reference. Still waiting for a response from Mike. I sent them out to him with self a addressed return folder and postage.
