O.K......heres one for the pros.......On my 58' I need two screws, I think that they should be the same. One is the Phillips head, fine thread, self tapping screw that holds the ground strap to the accelerator arm (the other end is held in place by the valve cover screw. They other screw which I believe is the same holds the radio capacitor mounting bracket to the Fuel Injection accelerator return spring bracket. It too is a fine thread, self tapping screw with a Phillips head. I either lost or destroyed my originals. I have checked around most hardware stores and speciality fastener stores with zero luck and not even a close match so that option is totally out. Thanks again!!

Give J.T.Piper auto spec 800-637-6111 a try. I have had good luck with them & they are a nice outfit to deal with.

Have you tried a junk yard? My guess is that you will find it on 57 to 62 GM cars.Comment
