    D-112P ignition points distinguishing features

Can anyone tell me specifics on the D-112P points as to differences you can see to identify them?

The pictures I have posted below seem to indicate that the D-112P has a solid pivot post while the D-106PS does not. However, checking the D-106P set I have also has a solid pivot post. The wiring attachment seems to be the same as the D-106P (not pictured).

Are there any numbers or marks that distinguish the D-106P from the D-112P when you are looking at them?

I have several distributors with points that I would like to identify and I believe some are the D-112P as I usually bought the high performance points.

If you have several of each it's easy to tell the

difference just by taking your finger and triggering the points. There is a DEFINITE difference in spring tension. Otherwise, if you don't get a solid answer, I can look at the new set I have and tell you the difference.
