Brown's Plating

Anyone had any experience with Brown's Plating in Paducah, Kentucky?

Dave 20 years ago when I was in the Harley-Davidson aftermarket motorcycle business, Browns was the "go to" guys for motorcycle chrome. They did a great job with good turn around times. They were not cheap by anybody's standard! As far as durability goes the steel parts we plated looked great and lasted a long time, chromed aluminium parts are fragile and don't hold chrome well no matter who plates them. Motorcycle engine parts that get chromed often have problems with the chrome getting inside threads and bearing races. Browns chrome never gave us a problem. If you like Browns prices go with them. They are around a long time with lots of experience in motorcycle show chrome, and we bikers are a much fussier lot!

Thanks Don...My reply is late because I was out of the country for the last week. Believe that there are several other quality chrome shops Corvette guys use that may be a little less expensive.
