Re: Rob, you started the thread,

There are enough websites devoted to 1st gen Camaros you could loose you eyesite just reading all the stuff. Camaros.org Camaros.net Chevy-Camaro.com and many many more. Some of the guys are just about as well versed on those cars as the guys that are on this board. There are a number of books out there but new info surfaces all the time and the boards pick up on the stuff that isn't in an outdated book. Search around you will find what you need to know. GL

Re: You've all answered his question.

      Nice car.
Is that a real Big Bad Blue car, or did you simply paint the bumpers?
I like it a lot. The AMX was always a favorite car of mine.

Re: You've all answered his question.

Yes it is a real big bad blue car. 69 was the only year AMC painted the bumbers body color and only in the 3 big bad colors. Looked for quite sometime to find just the one I wanted. 390 4speed twin grip (posi) and Big Bad Blue. The modpac roof spoiler was on it when I got it, I added the front and rear spoilers, driving lights etc. Kinda of a fun car and modifications don't seem to hurt the value. GL

Re: Rob, you started the thread,

I have an old book which covers 67-79 called "The Great Camaro" by Michael Lamm. Has a bunch of charts and goes thru how the Camaro got started, changes from year to year, etc. It has nowhere near the detail of the Corvette books but probably a very good start.

I don't know. I remember when a certain '69 Camaro with the 6 cyl and Torque Glide was really, really appreciated by me. And it wasn't in '69 or even close.

Team Camaro and Team Chevelle.net Now Team Nova as well same people design it run it. All excellent sites for both lit. and cars, parts, etc. Find an expert to look at cars with you. RS's can be created very easily with aftermarket parts. Do your homework. Good Luck
