    C1 Car cover recommendations

    I need a good outdoor car cover for my '56 for next summers judging events. Anyone have a recommendation on which one to buy? Thanks.

      Garry...

      You will get a lot of opinion's on this one...I like the "Noah" order from Eckler's. It does not scratch the paint during removal and is a indoor/outdoor product.

          Dennis - in the future, you can buy them cheaper at the following car cover supplier.....Wolfe covers.......great deal....Craig

              By from a company that uses a pattern for your year of car. Some companys use the same pattern for all C1's. I bought a NOAH cover made by Wolfe from a large Corvette supply and it was the worst fitting cover I have ever seen. Pat

                      I am happy with the one I got from California Car Cover Co. Expensive, but fits real nice.

                          Pat - it must vary then from Wolfe....I have them on my 67 coupe, 2003 Mini, 97 Chevy truck....and they all fit like a glove. Not sure why the problem with the C1.....oh well.....Craig

                              Hi Craig. Corvette Central sells covers made by Wolf in both NOAH and Technalon fabrics. For C2 covers, they have one part number for all 63-67 which are pretty much all the same. For C1 covers, they list one part number for all 53-62 even though there are different body styles. The pic shows the cover on my 59. Maybe I am just too fussy. I have to say that Corvette Central was great as they took it back and sent me another. Unfortunatly it fit the same. Cover Craft has patterns for each of the different C1 body styles, I am going to try one.

                                      I had a California Car Cover "Plushweave" cover (gray cotton outer, plush flannel lining) for my '57, and it fit like a glove; also have one for my '67, and it fits very nicely as well - no sags, no bags
