    C2-AIM Page #- Hood W/strip

Can someone on the board tell me the page number in the AIM that shows the installation of the rear hood ledge weatherstrip on a 1967 big block hood? In particular, I cannot find anything that shows the attachment of the ends of the w/strip to the hood with plastic push-in fasteners. Thanx for the help!

Don you will find Hood weatherstrip related items in UPC 11/13 section B. I wouldn't think the BB hood is any different than the production hood, but if it is it would be shown in the BB RPO section.

The weatherstrip is shown on page G235 UPC 11-13 B6. It does not call out a pin, however the pin may have been installed by the weatherstrip vendor as it was cut to length. My BB hood has the holes. As far as I know its original....

When you get done with the instalation the pins do not show. They are inside the weatherstrip.....

The same illustrator who didn't show the pins didn't bother to show the weatherstrip adhesive either, but it's there.
