Can someone enlighten me as to what application the "DAVIS" tooling is for? Looks like fuel injection stuff, but were the units ever installed on a factory vehicle?

Also, from the latest revision to the web site, it appears the current owner may be coming to his senses and be willing to sell the collection off piecemeal. Afterall, it's already under one roof. Why not let people come up and hand over piles of cash for individual cars or parts.

Any more updates from the inner circle?

Along with the Davis fuel unit and the Davis mold equipment..there were a handful of A D Davis business cards from his place in Belleflower, Ca.

I am advised there was an A.D. Davis who was the assistant engine guru to Zora Arkus Duntov,

What is interesting..is the fact that the air meter extension..is the same color green as the base of the prototype air meter extension on my 1957 Nassau/Daytona factory team car..
