Hey everyone, I am back and working on my Vette. I have been using it and it is time to make the engine look good. It has good compression and has never been rebuilt, so I figure I will leave it alone and drive it (have been doing that for about 5 years).
Now I want to clean the engine compartment up a bit more. There is lots of gunky stuff and paint missing. I wanted to re-paint the valve covers, clean up the rest and maybe paint the intake manifold and whatever needs work.
Here is my question (two of them).
1 - Any tips or things to look out for? What should I clean it with? etc?
2 - Now that I am doing this, should I do anything to the valve springs or anything else anyone recommends.
