If you own a '66 could you please take a look at Michael Hansen's posting from yesterday. It's entitled "Cut Area In RF Fender Skirt Comparison". Several of us have noticed on our '66s that what we each thought was fiberglass damage of the inner fender liner/skirt just aft of the passenger's side upper A-arm probably is GM handiwork. It appears that GM did a very crude job of timming the fiberglass for clearance around the brake line as it passes over the frame rail and under the front lower corner of the inner fender liner. In some cases, it appears that the corner was snapped off rather cut or sawn. To the best of my knowledge this feature is not mentioned in then '66 TIM&JG. See the photos that Michael posted showing the notches in his and my inner fender liner. If anyone has photos showing similar notches, could they please send them to me at beaupre@va51.stanford.edu
