    A.I.R.

Would all '67 corvettes sold new in California by a California dealer have to have A.I.R. back then?

unless it is a L-88, dont think they had A.I.R., you could ask the man selling the white L88 on Ebay. He would know for sure.

        Re: A.I.R.

All those going to California dealers had the A.I.R. system installed and had the engine pad stamped to indicate so.

So should I assume that a tank sticker from a '67 that had a dealer code in California should show the A.I.R. as an option?

            Jeremy,

            I believe that is correct.

I read somewhere that California delivered '66 425HP engines did not have the a.i.r. system.

                  K-19 was 44.95

the L-88 was not listed having the K-19 as a option. all other engines list it as a option. was it a required option in calif????????

                    Re: K-19 was 44.95

In those years, California smog laws were one year ahead of the federal standard, and burning off the hydrocarbons in the exhaust was as high tech as it got. Looking at the '67 service manual, it looks like they had one for every engine configuration. I know a lot of the pieces are one year only on the pumps and such.

a volcano erupting puts more **** into the

atmosphere that all the covettes even built. the problem is too many people. i have neighbors who have 5 kids and there are 7 cars in their drive. forced birth contol is the answer,we do not need to grow population wise. we only had one child so to try and cut down the numbers BUT there a guys out there that like to brag to their friends how much of a man they are by have great numbers of kids.
