Re: Owner (probably) bid in the last 45 seconds
GL,
I'll send scans tonight, if I get back at a reasonable time. Also have more info on the operation numbers on the repair order, thanks to Bob Jorjorian. I knew there was something else wrong and he was able to prove it.
I tried to enlarge the repair order but it doesn't seem to get easier to read as the size is increased. Hopefully, someone can clean it up and make it more legible.- Top

Re: Ebay L88 also listed in sports car mkt
My beleif is that anyone savvy enough to put together 500k to buy a sports car (American Made), that the value rides on its authenticity IS NOT going to buy the car without verifiable provenance. Betting dollars to donuts that this car did not have real buyer, Car was also listed in the lates issue of sports car market at some auction out west having met a price of 200k and not selling. Anyone in our community knows that if the car was a "real" L88 convertable that the price would easily be in the 500+ range.JMHO- Top

GL: check your inbox
Just emailed three 1 megabyte jpegs of the July 1969 Chevrolet parts catalog for the M22 input shaft/gear, 3rd gear, and the counter shaft (gear). These show that the LIST prices 11 months after the false R & R invoice were less than shown on that work order.
I now realize that these pics show up in such detail that you can count the fibers on the sheet. First time emailing pics with my new Nikon S4, so I can re-take at less resolution if desired.- Top

Re: Ebay L88 also listed in sports car mkt
Hell, with today's car market I'd think an absolutely known to be REAL L88 convertible would be in the million plus range. ZL1 Camaros are supposedly actually changing hands in the upper hundreds, although the only one I'm personally aware of in the last couple of years was more like 300K.- Top
