Two questions. Does anyone have any suggestions for what sealer to use for the heater box to firewall to recreate what the factory did? I may try to create something but I thought I'd ask first.
Also what is the finish on the power brake booster bolts...the ones that bolt in under the grills. It was hard to tell on the well aged originals that came out. Thanks!
The upper bolts on the brake booster I removed from my '67 were recessed head, with anchor markings. They were black-phosphate and had the "built in washer" on the head. I assumed they were original. Long Island sells them zinc plated. Maybe you can look closely at the threads that weren't exposed and see how yours were plated.
