    C# Carburetor idle solenoid

On an automatic, Holley equipped 350/270 hp the AIM shows an Idle solenoid to control dieseling. It has one terminal, but the wiring diagrams don't show a wire to connect to it. What color wire should attach to this and where does it come from. I assume the circuit is completed by grounding to the engine. Thanks.

    Should be a tan wire.
The ground path is where it bolts to the carburator like you said.
I believe 71 also has 2 vacuum hoses on it as well, but........

What is an automatic, Holley-equipped 350/270? Chevrolet did not make such an engine/carb/transmission combination, at least not in a Corvette.

And, what year are you interested in?
