    C2 Clock Needle Removal

Have my 64 clock out and need to repair. How does one remove the shaft that sets the time AND then how do you remove the second hand. Have parts to repair my broken main spring. Thanks for your help

You have to grab and hold the reset shaft with needle nosed pliers (padded helps to thwart scratching paint on the shaft) and then remove the knob on the reset shaft. The individual hands on the clock are simply interference fit pressed onto the stages of the main drive shaft.

        Thanks!
Now I just need some luck or WD40 since reset does not want to move so far.
