    OIL PAN GASKET

could someone provide me with a part # for a one piece Fel-Pro oil pan gasket. I have a 5 qt. pan on a 63 SHP motor.

If the pan is an ORIGINAL pan (i.e. GM #3820000), then you need a Fel-Pro OS-34509T. If it's the GM #360866 1975 replacement for the 3820000, then you need Fel Pro OS-34510T.

To ascertain which pan you have if you're not sure, measure the RADIUS of the front oil pan seal surface. If it's 2-1/4", you have the original pan; if it's 2-3/8", then you have the later pan.

You can also measure the thickness of your old front oil pan seal. If it's 0.22", it's the original style; if it's 0.41", then it's the later style.
