Heater Hose ID

I ran across a NOS upper heater hose in a bunch of Corvette parts and can't seem to find its end use. Looks like a 63 - 64 FI hose but a couple of inches shorter. Help if you know. Part number 3850687 -RE Thanks in advance. And if you need it let me know as I am in no need of it.

Dummy me Upper radiator hose not heater hose. No on ever said you had to be able to spell or type to use a computer.

The GM #3850687 upper radiator hose was used for 64-66 Chevy II with air conditioning, HD radiator and 283 cid engine as well as 64-65 Chevelle with V-8 engine and without L-79 and without HD radiator and/or air conditioning.

The 3850687 was discontinued in January, 1971 and replaced, for SERVICE, by the GM #3788191. The latter hose is applicable to many 55-62 Corvette applications. This may imply some compatibility of the 3850687 hose for Corvette applications, although it was never catalogued by GM for such applications.
