    Don,

I think they moved due to the B-J auction being the 3rd weekend. Unfortunately that did not change the calendar on this site until too late for me. I suspect they will continue to avoid the weekend of the B-J auction in future years, too.

Re: Has this ever been a club?

I'll bet you $100 you'll see someone quote the aforementioned survey. Then again, I doubt any BoD member will show up and say anything. That survey is not valid on this issue no matter how many times it's mentioned.

If I didn't have 3 little kids I'd run for the BoD and see what I could do to fix this. But as my free time is occupied for the next 15 years or so, that will have to wait. I suspect it will still be an issue then.

Re: Has this ever been a club?

I don't think I want the bet. (last time I bet someone on this board, and won, I never got our steak dinner) Besides, I agree with you.

I'd like to wait and see if indeed some "valid issues" are brought up on this before I get too deep. Possible that they've already looked into it and found reasons why it can't work properly. Does anyone have any info on this?

I certainly agree that the number of people on the internet today is more than their original results or estimate. I don't think I know more than about three people that are computerless.

Re: Has this ever been a club?

Maybe the BoD are the ones without internet access, and that is why they have not chimed in...

Did I say that out loud?

            Yes, you said it.

But I think there is an unwritten (but not unspoken) rule that they aren't supposed to get into these type of discussions on this board. So, don't plan on hearing from them.

BoD Agenda, Regional Rep, Chapter Pres.

Each Chapter Chairman/President completes an annual report for the BoD March Meeting. Contact your Chapter Chairman/President to voice your concern and suggestions for putting the Driveline on-line and with a "member's only" area. Also, send a copy to your respective Regional Representative whose name and address are in the front of the Restorer magazine.

The March BoD meeting is in San Antonio this year. Members can attend and request to be on the agenda through your Regional Rep.

All of the Chapter Chairman/President's contact information are on this web site. Someone can start an e-mail survey of the Chapter Chairman/President's and forward the results via e-mail to the NCRS Board of Directors, which is made up of the Regional Representatives.

I definetely support putting the Driveline on-line and more automation.

              JMTCW, Happy New Year,

              Gary

My Chapter Chairman has already been a part of the original thread below.

                    Re: GM/NCRS survey

I spent some years in metallurgical research. There is no lack of bad research anywhere.

I'm not sure this survey was bad for Chevrolet. They got answers to their questions. It only becomes bad when we try to make the answers fit our questions.

I know about some of those medical studies. Remind me next time we are together, and I'll tell you about some of the work of a cousin of mine.
